Terms of Service
Last updated: August 22, 2026
This is a reference translation. The Japanese version is the governing text; if the two differ, the Japanese version prevails.
Article 1 (Scope)
These Terms set out the conditions for using the digital photobook service “DEBUT” (the “Service”) provided by CURBON Inc. (the “Company”). By using the Service, users are deemed to have agreed to these Terms.
Article 2 (Eligibility)
The Service is intended for persons aged 18 or over. Persons under 18 may not use it. Users are responsible for managing their own account information.
Article 3 (Permitted use of content)
A purchased digital photobook may be used only for private viewing by the purchaser. The following are prohibited:
- Copying, saving, reposting, redistributing, selling or lending the photographs
- Posting or uploading to social media, forums, file-sharing services or similar
- Sharing, transferring or lending an account
- Providing images obtained by screenshot or similar means to third parties
Article 4 (Purchase and payment)
Each issue is sold as a one-time purchase. Payment is processed through a payment provider designated by the Company; the Company does not hold users’ credit card details.
Article 5 (Access period)
A purchased issue can be viewed from the purchaser’s account for as long as the Service is provided. However, a particular issue may be withdrawn for rights-related or other reasons.
Article 6 (Returns and cancellations)
Because of the nature of digital content, returns and cancellations after purchase are not accepted. If you were charged twice or cannot view content because of a technical problem, please contact us through the contact page.
Article 7 (Changes to and suspension of the Service)
The Company may change the content of the Service or suspend it without prior notice. The Company is not liable for any damage this causes to users.
Article 8 (Account suspension)
If a user breaches these Terms, the Company may suspend or delete the account without prior notice. In that case the right to view purchased content is also lost, and no refund is made.
Article 9 (Governing law and jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over any dispute relating to the Service.
