CURBON Inc. (address: Hanegi International Garden House A03, 1-19-20 Hanegi, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo; the “Company”) sets out below how personal information is handled in the digital photobook service “DEBUT” (the “Service”).

Information we collect

  • Email address and display name (at account registration)
  • Purchase history and bookmarks (saved issues and page bookmarks)
  • Reading activity for purchased photobooks (which pages were shown, when, and how many times)
  • Access logs (IP address, browser information, date and time)

Payment details such as credit card numbers are handled by the payment provider and are not held by the Company.

  • Providing the Service and managing access to purchased content
  • Identity verification and responding to inquiries
  • Preventing misuse
  • Statistical analysis to improve the Service

Sharing with third parties

Except where required by law, we do not provide personal information to third parties without the person’s prior consent. We do, however, entrust the following providers with processing to the extent needed to run the Service:

  • Supabase (account management and data storage)
  • Cloudflare (site delivery)
  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Resend (email delivery)
  • Google (traffic analysis with Google Analytics)

Use of cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in. You can disable them in your browser settings, but features that require signing in will then be unavailable.

We also use Google Analytics to improve the Service; information such as the pages you view is sent to Google via cookies and similar technologies. It does not include information that identifies you personally. For how Google handles this data, see Google’s policy.

Retention and deletion

Account information is kept until you close your account. To delete your account, contact us through the contact page. After deletion, purchased content can no longer be viewed.
